Mr. Levit is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, class of 1972. In 1979, Mr. Levit entered the software business, and rose to the position of senior analyst programmer, working on the then cutting edge of the minicomputer systems. In 1987, Ian Levit and Fletcher James founded Levit & James as a computer consulting and custom software development company. The new company specialized in minicomputer systems, and migration from minicomputers to then emerging technology of Local Area Networks. Mr. Levit lives in Leesburg, Virginia with his wife and Mr. Hawkeye, a very handsome Australian Shepherd and Three Card Monte dealer.
